Pickers Tip: when will fruit be ready?

Writer's picture: Dale CurranDale Curran

Growing fruit can be a frustrating exercise.

And we know this to be the case for all of you waiting as well, just by the number of enquiries we received asking when to come picking.

As a rough guide from when the trees blossom, to when fruit is ready can take anywhere from 55 to 90 days depending on the variety of Cherry...

We're still waiting for our blossoms to bloom for this season, so realistically our open dates are likely to be in early December, as they have been in previous years.

We've had another very dry year this year as well, so we are not certain what the quality or size of the fruit will be like. But we are always hopeful!
